EuroCC4SEE

The role of EuroCC4SEE and EuroCC 2 is to establish and run a network of more than 30 NCCs across the EuroHPC Participating States. 

The NCCs act as single points of access in each country between stakeholders and national and EuroHPC systems. They operate on a regional and national level to liaise with local communities, in particular SMEs, map HPC competencies and facilitate access to European HPC resources for users from the private and public sector. 

To support this, EuroCC4SEE will work closely with the EuroCC 2 project and the CASTIEL 2 coordination and support action to drive collaboration, exchange of best practices and knowledge at the European level and to accelerate the improvement of national and thus European capabilities.

The goal of the EuroCC4SEE project is to continue to address the differences in the maturity of HPC deployment in Europe. 

Therefore, in addition to high-level management to monitor progress in the NCCs’ development, the main task of the overall activity is to support new and so far, only associated national centres in setting up their individual operational frameworks, while accessing and making the most of the experience and expertise currently available at national and European level.
