Leonardo
The Italian AI Factory, IT4LIA, is a strategic initiative aimed at transforming the national and European AI landscape through advanced supercomputing infrastructure and a comprehensive portfolio of services. It leverages the EuroHPC Leonardo supercomputer and the forthcoming AI-optimized system at the Bologna Tecnopolo, a hub for supercomputing, big data, AI, and quantum technologies.

MareNostrum 5
The BSC's AI Factory in Barcelona, Spain, will increase its supercomputing capacity with an upgrade of MareNostrum 5, which will be equipped with advanced artificial intelligence accelerator technology and AI capabilities for training and development of large-scale generative models.
