The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) has launched a call for tender for the installation of the EuroQCS-France photonic quantum computer, a new EuroHPC quantum computer to be located in France.

These new research and innovation projects will focus on fostering the adaptation of applications to exascale and future post-exascale performance, ensuring the efficient use of HPC infrastructures and on the training of European HPC users.  

When Europe inaugurates its first exascale supercomputer later this year, the event will be a major step towards European sovereignty in computing.
