Inauguration of MeluXina EuroHPC JU supercomputer

The launch ceremony of MeluXina, Luxembourg’s first supercomputer hosted in one of LuxConnect’s Data Centers, will take place on June 7th at 14:30 in Bissen.

The Ministry of State and the Ministry of the Economy are pleased to invite you to follow the high-level digital event that will be live-streamed on, on Facebook, and on YouTube.

In the presence of HRH the Grand Duke, the official inauguration ceremony will be composed of speeches held by the Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, the Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot, EuroHPC JU and by the European Commission.

Run and managed by LuxProvide, MeluXina is one of the most powerful high-performance computers in Europe and is co-financed by the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking. Luxembourg’s supercomputer is available for business and research and will be interconnected to the other existing EuroHPC supercomputers.

A replay session will be made available shortly after the event on the Luxembourg Government YouTube channel.
