CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST for the selection of consortia of private partners and the Hosting Entities for the procurement of Industrial High Performance Computers

The EuroHPC JU will select the hosting entities for the industrial-grade supercomputers and the associated consortia of private partners. The EuroHPC will conclude with each of the Hosting Entities a hosting agreement, which will permit to establish a stable and structured partnership between the EuroHPC JU and the Hosting Entities for the acquisition and operation of such supercomputers or partitions of the EuroHPC supercomputers.

The EuroHPC JU will procure at least one industrial supercomputers in 2024 with a total EU contribution of EUR 12.2 million. The new industrial supercomputers will be co-funded by the EuroHPC JU budget stemming from the Digital Europe Programme (DEP) and by contributions from relevant EuroHPC JU participating states. The EuroHPC JU shall cover up to 35% of the acquisition costs of the industrial-grade supercomputers. The EuroHPC JU shall own or co-own industrial-grade supercomputers with a consortium of private partners.
