Public Consultation on the AI GigaFactories

The European Commission and the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking are inviting stakeholders to express their interest in contributing to the future development of AI GigaFactories in the European Union.

AIG

Industry stakeholders, public and private investors, and EU Participating States are invited to submit their ideas to contribute to the future development of the AI GigaFactories, the next generation of infrastructure supporting large-scale AI model development in Europe.

The AI GigaFactories are envisioned to be high-capacity AI infrastructure hubs that build on the existing AI Factories initiative, with significantly greater compute power, integrated data resources, and automation.

They aim to enable the development and deployment of frontier AI models across sectors and for public interest applications.

This consultation is intended to identify interested consortia and gather preliminary inputs for potential future implementation. Proposals should outline a high-level vision for establishing and operating an AI GigaFactory within the EU.
