The European Commission announced the winners of the Large AI Grand Challenge: four innovative AI start-ups from Europe will share the prize of €1 million and 8.8 million computational hours, advancing Europe's leadership in AI development.

The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) has launched a call for tender to select a vendor for the acquisition, delivery, installation and maintenance of the mid-range supercomputer, DAEDALUS to be located in Greece.

The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking has signed a hosting agreement with GENCI for its next exascale supercomputer, Alice Recoque, which will be operated by CEA. It will pave the way for new scientific discoveries and post-exascale HPC and AI services.

A hosting agreement has been signed between EuroHPC JU and Linköping University (LiU) in Sweden, which hosts the National Academic Infrastructure for Supercomputing in Sweden (NAISS) and will host the new EuroHPC supercomputer, Arrhenius.

The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) has launched a call for tender for the installation of EuroQCS-Spain, a new EuroHPC quantum computer to be integrated into the EuroHPC supercomputer MareNostrum5.

The first module of the exascale supercomputer JUPITER, named JEDI, is ranked first place in the Green500 list of the most energy-efficient supercomputers worldwide.

The three EuroHPC pre-exascale supercomputers remain in the top 10 of the TOP500 list, while Deucalion makes its first appearance. JUPITER is already setting new energy efficiency standards, with its JEDI module taking 1st place in the Green500 list.

Following the 38th Governing Board meeting of the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK) became the 35th Participating State to join this EU initiative to lead the way in European supercomputing.

Today the Research and Innovation Advisory Group (RIAG) elected its chair during its first in-person meeting in Luxembourg. RIAG is one of the two advisory groups of the industrial and scientific advisory board of the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking.

The objective of this project is to lead towards innovative experiments and innovation studies, highlighting the value of HPC and AI adoption for SMEs across Europe.
