EuroHPC Virtual Training Academy (EVITA)

The EuroHPC Virtual Training Academy (EVITA) aims at developing a standardised European training framework in HPC.

Evita

EVITA aspires to create an interconnected community of learners, educators, and industry professionals who are empowered with cutting-edge HPC knowledge and skills.

Accordingly, EVITA has assembled a consortium of the most impactful actors in HPC education and training within Europe, institutions which are currently coordinating or are heavily involved in the network of EuroHPC Competence Centres, the EUMaster4HPC and the actions HPC SPECTRA.

To acquire high-quality training modules, the project will establish a cascade funding mechanism to attract leading training providers to submit material through open calls. A transparent review process will ensure quality and consistency. The project will develop a didactic concept that integrates pedagogical principles with forefront technical solutions.

Throughout the project, an innovative online training platform will be developed as a structured repository of training material, equipped to guide learning and teaching.

The project will create pre-defined learning pathways that will direct learners through various professional profiles. In this context, a learner may follow their own path, and any acquired skill (exam passed) will be certified. Likewise, learners fulfilling training requirements of a professional profile will be certified.

Moreover, trainers will be able to access a pool of exam questions, including solutions, by selecting modules or full courses through the platform.
