The procurement contract for JUPITER, the first EuroHPC exascale supercomputer, has been signed by the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) and a consortium comprising of Eviden and ParTec.

A new call has been launched by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking to select and support Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in HPC to adapt applications in anticipation of the transition towards exascale and post-exascale performance.
Over the years, the topic of AI has been the subject of much discussion and controversy. With the rapid uptake of the technology in many industries and facets of our daily lives, the EuroHPC JU is looking at how AI allied to HPC could have a major impact on future innovation.
Today, Deucalion, the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking supercomputer located in Portugal, was inaugurated by the Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa at the University of Minho in Guimarães.

A new EuroHPC research project has been launched: Inno4scale. The project will support the development of innovative algorithms designed to ensure that HPC applications efficiently exploit upcoming exascale and post-exascale supercomputing.

The EuroHPC JU has signed hosting agreements with six sites across Europe to host & operate EuroHPC quantum computers. These quantum computers will allow European users to explore a variety of quantum technologies coupled to leading supercomputers.

The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) has selected the Jules Verne consortium to host & operate in France the 2nd EuroHPC exascale supercomputer to exceed the threshold of one billion billion calculations per second.
