The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) launched a call to support Competitiveness and Innovation Potential of SMEs

The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) launched a new call to support innovation in low latency and high bandwidth interconnects
Did you know that if you search “Exascale supercomputer” on the internet, you will learn that it is a computer that can perform more than 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 (1018) operations per second or more than so called 1 exaFLOPS?

A new EuroHPC research project has been launched: Inno4scale. The project will support the development of innovative algorithms designed to ensure that HPC applications efficiently exploit upcoming exascale and post-exascale supercomputing.

The EuroHPC JU has signed hosting agreements with six sites across Europe to host & operate EuroHPC quantum computers. These quantum computers will allow European users to explore a variety of quantum technologies coupled to leading supercomputers.

The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) has selected the Jules Verne consortium to host & operate in France the 2nd EuroHPC exascale supercomputer to exceed the threshold of one billion billion calculations per second.

The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) has selected the Linköping University in Sweden to host and operate Arrhenius a new world-class mid-range supercomputer.

All EuroHPC systems have ranked once again among the world’s most powerful & energy efficient supercomputers in the latest edition of the TOP500 & Green500 lists, while LUMI and Leonardo have retained their top rankings.
