The Eastern Mediterranean region, encompassing Greece, the Balkans and Turkey, faces increasing extreme weather events and complex terrain-driven meteorological phenomena that require high spatial and temporal resolution for accurate prediction. 

Current global weather models operate at 10-25km resolution, creating a critical gap in local weather intelligence. HyperCast AI addresses this challenge by developing and benchmarking state-of-the-art deep learning architectures to downscale global weather and subseasonal-to-seasonal (S2S) predictions to unprecedented 1km hourly resolution.
