The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking aims to select hosting entities for petascale supercomputers, which will be acquired by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking.

Replies will be given/published no later than 14-03-2019. To ensure equal treatment of applicants, the EuroHPC JU will not give a prior opinion on the eligibility of applicants, or affiliated entity(ies), an action or specific activities.
No individual replies to questions will be sent but all questions together with the answers and other important notices will be published at regular intervals on the Questions and Answers page under the relevant call.
The Evaluation Guide to the Calls for Expression of Interest for the selection of Hosting Entities for Precursors to Exascale and for Petascale Supercomputers provides guidance how these evaluations are implemented, so that they are carried out in a coherent and consistent way by the external experts (the Evaluators) who will participate in the evaluation of the Applications.

It describes the evaluation process of the Call for Expression of interest based on the selection criteria as defined in the Regulation establishing the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking. In addition it includes a description how the proposals targeting the development of an optional system on an advanced experimental platform towards exascale are evaluated. The evaluation of the latter will be based on the three standard evaluation criteria of Horizon 2020 (1. Excellence, 2. Impact, 3. Quality of the Implementation). Based on these, the Evaluators will assess during the consensus meeting of the Application whether this part of the proposal merits to receive or not financial support.
